Letting your dog run loose could land you in jail.
LYNNWOOD — A woman who repeatedly has been cited for letting her dog run loose lost her appeal of a municipal-court conviction yesterday, as Lynnwood Municipal Court Judge Stephen Moore upheld her three-day jail sentence.
When Dakota ( the black labrador) was picked up a fifth time, Deborah Linnell 50, was called back to court. Earlier this year, she received the three-day sentence.

I think the punishment is much too harsh despite the repeated nature of the crime. After all she had just let a dog run loose. What's the big deal?
